It is part of my “ GAME RITUAL 遊戲儀式” series, and it can be performed with two people, four elements, four objects and four movement.
Costume:
Two people dressed in “transparent” color. (Mimicking the color of the background of the site).
Two people dressed in clothes with pocket(s).
Four Elements:
Qi 氣, Water 水, Wood 木, Earth 土
Four Objects:
Object A: Two people chose one object (A) together which can connect two people and can be used to explore the performance site.
Object B: Two people chose one object (B) together which can connect two people and can be melted in water.
Object C & D: Each person picks one object (C & D) found in the park, which may float in water.
Prelude:
Place Object B somewhere in the park near the fountain.
Hide Object C & D in each other’s pocket.
Four movement:
Movement 1: Connect/Explore
Two people connected with object A to explore the field around the fountain structure.
Movement 2: Exchange/Transform
Exchange object A for object B.
Movement 3: Connect/Melt
Two people connect with object B and slowly walk into the fountain, eventually object B is melted in water.
Movement 4: Float/Release
Release the found object C & D from each other’s pocket into the water. Watch it float away.

Notes for performers:
Speed: Slow. Each breath each step.
Eyes: Two people watch each other during the whole performance but not directly staring into the eyes.
May need an audience member to activate the fountain.

Accident:
*A basketball fell into the fountain structure
*A few children were interacting with the red string
*A group of young men were doing pushups at background with loud cheering sound
